How do I apply to live here?

A team member will explain the eligibility requirements for living at The Margaret Home. Our requirements include being 18 years of age or older and a pregnant or parenting mother.
Do I need a referral to apply?
No referrals are needed to complete an application for residency at The Margaret Home, though they are welcome. Our detailed intake process helps prospective residents and our team decide whether the program is best for that applicant.
How much does it cost to live here?
All resources and services at The Margaret Home, including our residential program, are offered at no cost.
How long can I be a resident?
Residents can live at The Margaret Home for up to 24 months from the date of admission.
Will you share with others that I’m a resident here?
We protect your confidentiality and do not share personal information with others unless required by law.
Our team knows that residents may have come from unsafe situations or relationships. We are committed to your safety and well-being.
Can you help me find a job?
Our residents can take advantage of job training, career planning, and more at “The Margaret Home.” We’ll help you accomplish your professional goals and equip yourself with the skills needed to flourish.
What happens after I leave The Margaret Home?
TMH’s Case Management Team provides career support for up to 3 years after graduating from the home. Our goal is also to track advancement and family income/sustaining wages.
TMH graduates are encouraged to attend events and help promote the home to the general public.
What if I don’t want to stay for the recommended 24 months?
If you decide to pursue life outside The Margaret Home, our onsite Case Manager will refer you to appropriate housing and help coordinate the transition.
