What is the Margaret Home?
The Margaret Home (TMH) is dedicated to housing and serving women 18 years old and older through all stages of pregnancy and early motherhood in a two year residential empowerment program.
For mothers with limited or broken support networks, we provide healing and unconditional love in a comfortable home and caring communal environment that nurtures an empowered spirit and a healthy lifestyle.
The Margaret Home is a tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization.
What makes The Margaret Home different from other local services for pregnant women?
We provide up to two years of housing, along with connections to a team of personal coaches. Together, we work with each mother to create a self-directed action plan along with the structure and resources to enable the achievement of personal, educational and professional goals that can lead to independence for a woman and her family.
How long can I stay at TMH and what is the goal at the end of my stay?
The maximum length of stay is 24 months from date of admission.
The goal for each women is the empowerment and achievement of personal, educational and professional goals that can lead to independence.

What does it cost to stay at TMH?
There is no cost to the women to live in the home or to participate in the programs. Our desire is to minimize the financial burden placed on women while they work toward their goals for independence. To accomplish this, we are grateful to our private partners (individuals, employer partners and organizations) who invest and sustain the home’s program and operational expenses.
